When I run the Linux command “cat /etc/lsb-release”, the output is DISTRIB_ID=Sophos Firewall Hence the actual underlying Linux distro is unknown. But of course Sophos could probably have modified Debian Linux for their own use, given Debian's popularity among Linux users in the world.
