ClamAV Antivirus can't detect trojan horses?

Subject: ClamAV Antivirus can't detect trojan horses?

Good day from Singapore,

I have ClamAV antivirus on my Virtualmin Linux Virtual Private Server (VPS).

clamscan   80596       1  0 Dec20 ?        00:00:38 /usr/sbin/clamd -c /etc/clamd.d/scan.conf

ClamAV on my Virtualmin Linux VPS didn't alert me to any malware.

However, after I have backed up the Virtual Servers on my Virtualmin Linux VPS, I transferred the Virtualmin backup files to my Windows 11 home desktop computer.

Virtualmin backup files contain email messages of all email accounts hosted in Virtualmin.

When I extracted Virtualmin backup files on my Windows 11 PC, Trend Micro Internet Security immediately alerted to me many trojan horses, which were subsequently removed!!

But ClamAV on Virtualmin didn't alert me to any malware at all!

Do I have to manually look for malware detections on my Virtualmin Linux VPS? If so, where can I look for the malware detections?

Thank you.

Regards,
